E.M.T. Extended Scope of Practice

Service Description

Each EMT shall have to have this training program prior to recertifying as an EMT. The State of California has mandated each EMT shall be trained in the appropriate extended scope of practice There are a small amount of approved train the trainer instructors that has to conduct the initial training. Once the EMTs have the initial training it will be a Skills Verification the next time they renew. The fee for the instructor is $100.00 this fee is based on a 1 on 1 scenario the more students are signed up the bigger the savings. The fee for the certificate processing is $85.00 (for each student) . The Topics of the training is Supraglottic Airway I-Gel, King, Glucose Monitoring, Epi Rite, Nasil Narcan(IM, and IN,) it is a 8 hour C.E. course.
